SNAP, previously known as food stamps, is a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. SNAP provides benefits to low-income individuals and families to help them purchase healthy and nutritious foods. This links to a webpage run by Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon. It lists whether or not, as a college student, you are eligible to apply for SNAP and also has a link to the application process. The Basic Needs Hub provides students with one place to stop for all concerns related to providing basic needs support. Their mission is to connect PSU students to resources in the moment of need so students can focus on academics, career goals, and interpersonal relationships. They are located in Smith Memorial Student Union Suite 435.
