After filling out the interest form, a staff member will reach out via e-mail closer to fall term with more information about available shifts. 

We are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers who are passionate about increasing food security within their community. Volunteers are expected to commit to volunteering from the beginning of the term through finals week.

Volunteers can expect to: 

• Stock food on shelves

• Maintain a clean and organized pantry environment 

• Greet patrons at the front desk

• Lift and unload boxes from pallets 

• Deep clean pantry spaces

• Miscellaneous tasks such as

  • Cutting out ingredient labels

  • Finding recipes 

(Depending on the shift, volunteers may be asked to unload and lift boxes which can weigh up to 50 lbs. If you have concerns about heavy lifting, please note that in the accommodations section.)
